Peer Specialist Supervisor (PSS) Training
A Peer Specialist Supervisor (PSS) provides guidance, oversight, and support to certified peer specialists, helping ensure quality, ethical, and effective peer services.
The PSS certification, offered through the Texas Certification Board, prepares professionals to supervise peer specialists and strengthen recovery-focused programs across Texas.
Who Qualifies?
To become a PSS in Texas, you must:
• Be at least 18 years old
• Be a QCC, LPHA, QMHP (with supervision), or QPS (with supervision)
• Pass a background check
• Follow Texas Administrative Code ethical guidelines
