Jaibez Regalado

A proud Latina woman in long-term recovery and self-discovery, overcoming substance use, mental health challenges, trauma, and domestic violence. As a first-generation college student, she is the first in her family to pursue higher education carrying that responsibility with purpose and pride. She is the Founder and CEO of Regalado Recovery & Self-Discovery, INC® and The Recovery Plug, LLC®, and the creator and host of the My Eyes My Truth® Podcast.

Rooted in lived experience, Jaibez is a powerful advocate dedicated to uplifting voices that are often unheard, especially those navigating recovery, re-entry, and generational trauma. Her work focuses on mental health and substance use recovery, complex trauma (including PTSD and C-PTSD), domestic and sexual violence advocacy, LGBTQIA+ support, youth mentorship, and unhoused and re-entry services.

As a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, IC&RC Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselor, Life Coach, Trainer of Trainers (State of Texas), Peer Support Supervisor, and DWI Intervention Instructor, Jaibez brings both professional expertise and lived experience into every space she serves. She holds multiple peer credentials including PSS, RSPS, PRSS, MHPS, and JI-RPS, and was among the first eleven individuals in Texas to earn the JI-RPS certification. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) at Angelo State University, further strengthening her commitment to serving individuals and communities through both lived and academic experience.

Her leadership includes serving as Former Chair of Dallas ROSC (2017–2018), along with being a public speaker, motivational voice, and Toastmasters member. She is also a recipient of the Rebuild My Life Foundation grant.

Through her podcast, My Eyes My Truth®, Jaibez continues to share real stories, truth, and transformation available on all major streaming platforms.

Katherine Regalado

Katherine Regalado is a dedicated peer professional with years of experience in addiction recovery, serving individuals across a variety of settings including recovery centers, treatment facilities, and detox programs. She has supported diverse populations with compassion, consistency, and a deep commitment to meeting people where they are.

As a State-Certified Recovery Support Peer Specialist (RSPS), Mental Health Peer Specialist (MHPS), and experienced case manager, Katherine brings a balanced approach of empathy, structure, and empowerment to the individuals and communities she serves.

Her work is deeply rooted in her own lived experience with substance use, mental health challenges, domestic violence, and experiences as an unhoused youth. This foundation allows her to build authentic connections and provide support that is both relatable and impactful.

Katherine is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) at Angelo State University, continuing to expand her knowledge and strengthen her ability to serve others through both lived and academic experience.

She believes in the power of helping individuals find their voice, own their story, and lead self-directed, purpose-driven lives.

A devoted wife and mother, Katherine brings the same passion and dedication to her family as she does to her work. She remains a committed advocate, facilitator, and a strong change agent within the peer support and recovery community.

His work blends strategic communication, human behavior insight, and lived experience to empower individuals to navigate adversity, strengthen emotional well‑being, and build sustainable personal growth.

Melissa is an addictions professional who believes in the power of lived experience to spark healing and forge authentic connections. As an RSPS, PSS (in the works), LCDC_I, and a committed lifelong learner in addiction treatment, Melissa is devoted to making a meaningful impact within their field. She connects with individuals through empathy, meeting each person at their unique place in life, asking insightful questions, and working diligently to develop practical, effective solutions. Her passion for the community is evident in every interaction, nurturing a space where support, understanding, and personal growth are at the forefront.

Rachel Daley LPC, LCDC, PSS 

Board Member

Rachel holds a Master of Arts in Counseling and Guidance from Texas A&M University–San Antonio. Since 2010, she has been dedicated to serving the substance use treatment community in San Antonio, bringing experience across the full continuum of care. Her clinical background includes work as both a residential and outpatient counselor, as well as leadership roles as a Clinical Director in nonprofit and private treatment settings.

Rachel has extensive experience developing and managing programs at multiple levels of care, including detoxification, residential treatment, partial hospitalization, and outpatient services. She has experience in teaching addiction studies at the collegiate level and supervising multi-disciplinary teams and interns. In addition to her organizational leadership, she maintains a private practice where she specializes in religious trauma and rejection-related trauma.
