Begin your Texas peer specialist certification training journey with the Recovery Support Peer Specialist (RSPS) Certification Training. This 5-day virtual training prepares participants with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to provide effective peer support to individuals in recovery.
In particular, participants will gain insight from certified facilitators with lived recovery experience and strengthen their skills in advocacy, documentation, and recovery storytelling.

Training Format
This is a virtual training. Sessions run from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM each training day.

Texas Workforce Commission participants must follow a separate approval process. As a result, pricing and enrollment procedures may differ for TWC-funded participants. Please contact us for additional information.
Who Should Attend This Texas RSPS Certification Training
This training is ideal for individuals who are passionate about peer support and recovery. Furthermore, you may be new to the field or looking to formalize your experience. Either way, the RSPS certification opens doors to meaningful career opportunities. Upon completion, participants are also prepared to work alongside other certified specialists, including MHPS, JI-RPS, and CFP peers across Texas.
